Announcement of Price Increase, effective May 1, 2025*

Individual certification and recertification costs

Beginning May 1, 2025, the cost for instructor certification will be $1,250; the cost for recertification will be $750.  

Group certification and recertification costs 

Beginning May 1, 2025, if an agency wishes to host a training and have a team of instructors certified, we will train up to 14 people on site for $12,500, plus travel expenses (airfare, ground transportation, lodging, and meals) for the Master Instructor. Each additional instructor up to 18 is $950. The group rate for recertification is $7,500 in addition to travel expenses and each additional instructor up to 18 is $650.

From the beginning we have dedicated ourselves to providing exceptional education and training for a reasonable price.  Comparing our prices with those of other nationally recognized vendors offering comparable programs, you can see that we are still the most affordable training in the marketplace.

What do the registration fees include?

Certification cost is all inclusive. Instructors receive a manual, teaching guides to both the prevention/support and physical skills curriculum, and have access to all other training materials at no additional cost through the instructor section of our website. These materials include the PowerPoint, tests, physical intervention demonstration videos, skill check-off sheets, and handouts for participants that follow the PowerPoint. 

The certification fee also covers ongoing consultation and technical assistance by email, telephone, or video conferencing.  If you have questions about the costs for Therapeutic Options training, please contact us. 

*  Instructors initially certified between April 1, 2024 and May 1, 2025 will be granted the 2023 rate ($610) for their first recertification.  Individuals and organizations that register or contract for instructor certification training before May 1, 2025 – even if the session isn’t scheduled until after May 1, 2025 – will also be granted the 2023 rate.
